Build quality :
I have to admit that it is the best built budget iem i have ever used! the shell is zinc metal and mostly is good quality plastic which feels really premium in hand and when you are using it! it has a rubber pad on conchae support to provide more fitting and comfort for its users.
Comfort :
For me? it was all good but the conchae support pad was extremely irritating and painful for my ears maybe due to my skin sensitivity! i could not use it for more than 40 minutes long! so i had to take break between testing sessions!
Cable :
Well in comparsion with other budget iem brands like KZ the cable is good but not the best there is... it is thin lightweight well built but according to some it may feel cheap flimsy :[
Sound Signature :
CCZ SOLO DC02 comes with warm and bassy side with good details sharp vocals.
Lows/BASS :
well this iem created for bass lovers. the lows/bass are deep, thick.It provides booming and polite bass but It does not provide skull crushing, mind smashing bass like high budget iems of course, but for the budget it is mentioned... it is a pure beast, the charectersitics are fairly balanced and well controlled
sadly the subass is slightly kind of lacking to me.
In gaming : DC02 cannot produce tank track {world of tanks} and step sounds {Arena Breakout infinite,PUBG} and also gun fire sound is replaced with bass. In NFS HEAT, War Thunder, GTA 5 the track sound details were perfect, deep and well detailed.
Mids/VOCAL :
The mids are warm quite clean with an aggressive upper-middle frequency. a thing i noticed stringed instrument specially guitar provides a little bit unnatural timbre which is specially noticable in Dragonforce- Through The Fire And The Flames. The guitar solo is thin and less detailed and artificial to me.
But on the vocal side this iem was really good at : male's vocal is sharp, well detailed shouty and it perfectly produced chester bennington's voice which is rare in budget bass iems... and Dragonforce-vocal: ZP theart's voice was thick aggressive which is on point,
On the other hand female vocals are sharp and crispy, but it may sound artificial to some.
In gaming : it does well job on separating charecter voice from the ambience or background music which caught me off guard! in Warzone it did a great job on operator voice : vocal was crystal clear specially male voice!
in DOOM ETERNAL : the sound tracks are awsome and blood boiling feedback this has gained a special place in my heart!
High/TREBLE :
In the high department DC02 does a great job! it has a bright leaned, crisp and sharp treble but while in gaming it was struggling to provide details in Tank track sound and footstep sounds, in rock metal divisin it has slight gittering noise which i noticed in "Metallica-Sad but true" and "Disturbed-Stupify, Stricken". It was suffering separating guitar solos from other details it is kind of sub-murged with bass which i do not like about it.
In gaming :
It does great job detailing highlights in WAR Thunder and Arkham knight- the car sound is enjoyable
with this one, in warzone it did a great job with the enemies movement feedback and sliding details {on concreate or mud not in grass!} also in DOOM ETERNAL!!!!!
Final Conclusion:
If you are looking for budget friendly mind blowing bass iem... For the price 20$ it has a great build quaity overall refined well controlled sound signature, firece deep bassthan any other budget iems i have ever used! if you want warm non-fatiguing versatile sounding iem this is for you but if you want mind smashing skull crushing Bass and more details, crisp mids and better highs and more details and for comptetive i will recommend increase your budget and go for others!
