𝙕𝙀𝙏𝙄𝘼𝙉 𝙒𝙐 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙇𝙀𝙂𝙀𝙉𝘿, 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙎𝙃𝘼𝙍𝙋 𝙏𝙊𝙉𝙂𝙐𝙀 𝙀𝙈𝙋𝙍𝙀𝙎𝙎

Honestly, Tangzu NEVER MISS if that about the packaging design. I just fall in love from the first sight with the box, eventhough i have not try the IEM yet. After try it, the sound quality make me love it even moreee.

But, like a feelings, of course its different between people. Zetian Wu the Legend is not everyone IEM. If we make an analogy, then Zetian Wu is not a kind, gentle, friendly empress, but she is a cold, firm, sharp tongue empress!

𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗞𝗔𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦

“Elegant” is the right word to describe my first impression when look at the Tangzu Zetian Wu the Legend packaging design. The illustration of Zetian Wu empress is very beautiul, elegant, enchantint, cold but not cruel. Zetian Wu the Legend box is bigger than the average IEM box. In the box we got a pair of IEM, a premium cable crafted by Flash Acoustics, a luxurious leather case, and a bunch of tang sancai eartips! We got 9 pair eartips in total, 3 kind of eartips such as normal Tang Sancai, Tang Sancai Wide Bore, and Tang Sancai Narrow Bore, each kind come with 3 different size.

The unboxing experience is very satisfying and feels premium thanks to the elegant design of the box, with magnet as sealing. We must give Tangzu 2 thumbs up, hmm no, its 4 thumbs up for the packaging and accessories!

𝗦𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗 𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬

Tangzu Zetian Wu the Legend (from now i will call it “Legend”) is using 2 planar driver with 14,2mm and 6mm size. When you hear about “Planar” driver, what comes in your mind? Top tier technicality? Crispy treble? Fast response bass? Yes, Legend is fullfil all your expectation, its even exceeding your imagination. Lets dig deeper!

As the note, i using normal Tang Sancai eartips when testing the IEM. Because in my opinion normal Tang Sancai have the most balance characteristic than other 2 (Tang Sancai Wide Bore and Narrow Bore) eartips.

𝗕𝗮𝘀𝘀
Legend have a deep, fast, controlled bass, with present but short decay sub bass. If you are a basshead, the bass quantity of this IEM won't satisfy you. But i iam certain that the bass quality of this IEM is on the very premiun level eventhough its not natural enough, typical planar driver in general.

𝗠𝗶𝗱
Mid in Legend is forward enough, clear, a little bit dry and thin. Again, its typical planar driver in general. For you that ok or maybe like the planar timbre, vocal in Legend actually good enough, especially woman vocal that feel lively and sparkling. For man vocal its just decent and maybe not thick enough for some people taste. The sibilance problem is not found in this IEM.

𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗯𝗹𝗲
Treble is King in Legend. From my very first impression i just can tell that the treble is stand out and feels different than other frequencies. Even Legend clarity and crispiness feels different than other Planar IEM, its special.

Eventhough it seem very “spicy”, but actually the treble still somewhat safe and not piercing. Maybe you can imagine that Zetian Wu is a cold and firm empress, have a sharp tongue when angry, she will scold you with her “spicy” word, but her “spicy” word is very educated and won’t hurt your heart. This is the first time i’ve been happy being “scolded” by someone.

𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆
Separation? Champion! Micro detail? Above average! Soundstage? Wide! Yes, if you have heard about Planar driver, its definitely a champion in terms of technicality, and Legend using 2 Planar driver in each IEM housing.

Separation feels seperate by each other, don't need extra effort to differentiate each instrument. The micro detail is cool, make me wonder and compare it many times with other IEM because it feels that different. Soundstage is wide and feels like have a room between instrument, its easy to know the position of the instrument comes in the song.

𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬

Again, i must say that this segment is very subjective and it certainly varies from person to person, but i still have to review it.

Housing in Zetian Wu the Legend is big, the nozzle is big, and its a little bit heavy too. Its still fit and sealing on my ear, but if you have smaller ear, maybe the Zetian Wu the Legend housing will hardly fit on your ear and less comfortable.

𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡

Like i said earlier, Zetian Wu the Legend is not everyone IEM. If you want an IEM that sounds natural, sweet vocal, have a lots of bass, then Zetian Wu the Legend definitely not for you. It’s like you want to eat a meatball, but you buy an instant noodle, it's definitely not what you want right?

If you searching for an IEM with top tier technicality, spicy “educated” treble, deep but fast bass, have premium packaging and accessories, then you don't need to think twice, Zetian Wu the Legend is absolutely for you!
