My First Sound Impressions Of The G318S Genesis:
They immediately sounded warm and detailed, very engaging sound, good seperation, texture and timbre, great vocals and instrument presentation, nice upper treble, airy but no sibilance at all, very natural slightly V shape sound.
So Now Let's Talk Bass, Mids And Treble:
Bass:
The bass is tight, with a fast attack, and decays naturally, there's good body and warmth to the texture, has good note definition, good bass extension for an 8.3mm driver, good amount of rumble and control, feels pretty natural, but wouldn't expect it to be basshead, it's well balanced with the mids and treble and adds a good sense of layering and texture.
Mid Bass:
Tight and warm, good texture, control, feels natural, nice weight and definition, good attack for drums, hits nice and tight, with good control and texture.
Base guitars sound good too, good note definition, you can hear plucks on the strings, and the texture feels natural.
Acoustic guitars, and double base sound great too.
Mids:
Natural, warm, musical, nice lushness to the mids, with a natural texture and warmth.
Vocals and instruments sound great, pianos, sound natural.
The mids have great resolution too, and micro details, adding some good layering with the bass.
Treble:
Good natural timbre, good treble extension, with no hint of sibilance.
Nice hint of sparkle, very clean and natural presentation, with good micro details.
Well balanced with the bass, mids bass and mids.
Sound Stage, And Imaging:
Open, airy, nice sense of space, and depth to the sound stage, good seperation, and good imaging, the vocals have a natural feeling presence in the sound stage, well centred.
Good height depth, layering.
Natural and articulate.

Comparisons:
Dunu Falcon Ultra,
The Dunu Falcon Ultra is warmer, and doesn't quite feel as wide in the sound stage, or as airy, the Genesis also has better seperation, imaging and micro details.
The Falcon Ultra is a little thicker with it's bass, mids presentation, the Genesis feels tighter, and better controlled.
Vocals sound a little more natural on the Genesis, as they do feel a little warmer on the Falcon Ultra.
The fit is also better on the Genesis, more comfortable, better stability, universal style shells, and two pin as opposed to the MMCX termination of the Falcon Ultra.
Final thoughts:
I think the Genesis is a great option for serious music lovers, it is a very well rounded and versatile set, that plays pretty much any genre well, and sounds as good as any other flagship DD's I've heard.
I think they sound as good as the Sennheiser ie900, Dita Audio Prelude, Kotori Audio Zephyr, Final A8000 in terms of their detail resolution, timbre, texture.
Some may have better sub bass extension, as some of them have larger diameter drivers, but the definition, control and texture is just as good as any high quality single DD I've heard.
In fact all the higher end single DD sets I've heard from Earacoustic Audio in the SPA (High End Max, Limited Edition, VSA) MAX and VSA LTD) and now the Genesis, have all been superb sets.
The build quality is also up their with the likes of the Sennheiser ie900, Final A8000, Hiby Yacht 10, Dita Audio Prelude, Kotori Audio Zephyr, Dunu Falcon Ultra, and I think even better in some cases.
