CCZ, a sister company of Kbear, specializes in entry-level products with competitive quality. recently they released two model, Duet BC04 Pro, and BC01 Pro called "Harmony" which I review today, with Hybird 1DD+1BA configuration, let's find out how this entry iems sound like.

The package is very compact similar to any CCZ product,

The included accessories are minimal, consisting of 3 sizes of ear tips and the cable is also similar to other model DC02.

Design & fit

The design of this iems is pretty nice, with the faceplate features a crystal cut design, reflecting gemstone alike. to me the fit is comfortable and the isolation is also quite nice.

BC01 Pro uses a TFZ connector, which honestly i do like it more than qdc, so if considering replacing cable the 0.78mm 2Pin pretty much suitable, but the connection can be weaker, so be careful not to damage the pin.

In my opinion this IEMs easy to drive and can be directly plug to the phone.. i also recommend to replace the stock ear tips, with something like wide bore, or liquid one like epz m100 or softears uc is matching.

Sound quality

BC01 Pro, has a sound character with a deep low-end rather the typical bright piercing "Vshape"

Bass

For me the bass is a strong point, in comparison to some products within the price range that use a single DD, The low end is notably deep and full.. with the subbass quite felt, the midbass also have decent amount, in my opinion bass line and drum beats have sufficient attack and expansion. compared to DC02 the bass is notably tighter with minimal bleed..

Midrange

The low-mid has enough note weight that makes male vocals sound pleasant, however there are dip in the center area at 700hz to 1khz, making the midrange feel a recassed, which makes it slight muddiness in some tracks, yet for around 1khz above this iems showing its capabilities, especially for female vocals it has a more clear and open, without any disturbing peaks, so it's comfortable for long listening season.

Treble

The high frequency tune to be calm, but still present, and the result there's no sharpness that some BA drivers can produce, but resolution and resonance are somewhat moderate, which make it lacking when listening to classical and rock songs, particularly with distorted guitar effects, it can be overlapping and slightly blurry, but overall they're safe and has enough clarity when listening to many modern music.

Technicalities

For a budget offering, the soundstage is respectable; it projects outside the head clearly, The imaging also solid, I tested it for gaming like Valorent, CS2 it's still commendable, however the detection range feels a bit narrow, so I don't really actively recommend it, but it was usable for a basic level, When listening to many tracks, it maintains its sense and depth..

Pros:
+ Good warm-ish "Vshape"
+ Calm non sharp treble
+ Great bass performance
+ Comfortable and pretty nice design
+ Non fatigue uppermids
+ Easy to drive!

Cons:
- Treble roll-off makes some instruments sound blurry
- Not best choice for intense, complex tracks
- Limited accessories and a cable quality could be better

Conclusion

This iem is well-suited for genres like Electronic music, R&B or other bass-heavy tracks.. also for many band that don't overuse distortion, it does sounds good. however, they may not be ideal for classical or rock that requires intensity and extended high frequencies. For those who delve high resolution, this isn't main selling. but considering the price this great option if seek an entry iems with good bass performance..
