IEM

When you pick up the VSA-V1, you immediately realize that these are serious headphones. They are quite large and made entirely of metal, and their front panels look stylish and neat. The left earpiece has an elegant inscription, “Void Silver Stalker” and the right one has “K.J.E.9.” These may seem like minor details, but they are what shape the character of the model and add that special atmosphere, as if each side has its own story to tell.

IMG-8076.jpg

I really like their appearance. Yes, it is somewhat reminiscent of the VSA-MAX, but at the same time, it is something else, with its own mood and presentation. To my taste, they look much more expensive than their price, and you can feel it right away, because there is no excess here, everything is done with a sense of proportion, very elegantly, neatly, and with an emphasis on detail and beauty.

IMG-8079.jpg

The connection here is standard, namely a 2-pin connector. But there are some interesting accents: the left earpiece has “Vocal Sweetness Amplified” written on it, and the right earpiece has a large VSA marking. These are not just random inscriptions, but elements that emphasize the brand's style and make the image even more cohesive.

The large acoustic opening is also immediately noticeable, exactly the same as on the VSA-MAX. It is covered with a metal mesh with an unusual pattern: beautiful, neat, and functional at the same time.

IMG-8099.jpg

On the inside of the housing, there is a small compensation hole. The sound tube is metal, 6 mm in diameter, with a rim for secure eartips attachment. It is also covered with a mesh with the same signature pattern as the VSA-MAX. This repetition of details creates a sense of unity and thoughtful design, everything looks logical and harmonious.

BUILD AND COMFORT

Despite the fact that the VSA-V1 are quite large, they fit perfectly in the ears. The shape of the body is very well designed, the fit is deep and secure, without excessive pressure or discomfort. Once you put them on, they immediately seem to fall into place, without shifting or requiring adjustment.
The included cable is also a nice touch, and it is exactly the same as the VSA-MAX. It doesn't look like a cheap cable, but is quite high-quality and comfortable. You can safely use it all the time, as it is soft enough, doesn't get tangled, and its connectors are neatly made.

COMPARISONS

iBasso JR KLEE - (80$)
Klee is all about transparency and refinement. Their presentation immediately captivates with its naturalness: the bass is tight, neat, without excessive weight, but with excellent control and depth that hints rather than overwhelms. The midrange is light, airy, with very clean timbres, vocals sound honest and unadorned, as if you were sitting in the studio in front of the singer. The highs are smooth and extended, creating a feeling of open space without protruding or coloring the sound. These are headphones for those who appreciate balance and purity of recording, rather than crazy showy effects.

EarAcoustic Audio VSA-V1 - (99$)
The VSA-V1 is a different story: it's an emotional, driving presentation with an emphasis on engagement. The bass is deep, massive, yet tight, with excellent texture. The vocals come forward, sounding bright and closer, as if the artist is performing right for you. The midrange is richer and fuller, and the instruments gain body and weight. The highs are bright, technical, with a clear emphasis on detail: cymbals, percussion, rustles, everything is as if under a microscope. These are headphones that do not leave the listener indifferent, they play on emotions rather than emphasizing neutrality.

EarAcoustic Audio VSA-MAX - (149$)
MAX is a more mature and stricter version of V1. The bass remains fundamental, but becomes even more focused and precise, with less emotional “fatness” and more control. The midrange moves back slightly, becoming more transparent and analytical, vocals and instruments gain more precision and less warmth. The highs are colder and more calculated, with an emphasis on microdetails and resolution, which makes the sound feel like a studio reference. The soundstage is wider, and the layers are even clearer. VSA-MAX is about drive and energy, but also about pedantry and analysis of music at the level of the finest nuances.

Pula Unicrom - (79$)
Unicrom, on the other hand, is the opposite of strict analysis. Of all these headphones, they sound softer, warmer, and more comfortable, with very pleasant, full-bodied bass that does not seek to impress with its power but creates the right foundation. The mids are velvety, the vocals are natural and slightly embellished, as if a little tube warmth has been added. The highs are more smoothed out, without any sharp accents, which makes the presentation safe and unobtrusive. The soundstage is moderately wide, with a good sense of depth, but the emphasis here is on comfort and musicality rather than extreme detail. These are headphones that you can listen to for hours if you are looking for a relaxed, cohesive, and musical sound rather than dry analysis.

TUNING AND CONCEPTION

This is what the frequency response graph for EarAcoustic Audio VSA-V1 dynamic headphones looks like. These headphones have a 10dB boost in the low frequencies with a very smooth transition to the lower midrange, perfectly matching my target. Further on, you can see a slight dip in the 700 Hz range, which is exactly the same as the VSA-MAX. After that, we see the main emphasis in the upper midrange at 3 kHz, which perfectly matches my target. As with the VSA-MAX, the high frequencies here have been slightly boosted to better highlight the various micro-nuances and overall technicality of this model.
Now let's discuss the sound of these headphones in more detail...

LOW FREQUENCIES

First impression: power and depth.

From the very first seconds, the low frequencies of the VSA-V1 impress with their solidity and scale. When you turn on a track, you immediately understand that the bass is not just present, it sets the tone for the composition. The notes are dense, rich, and voluminous, creating a feeling of filled space, but without losing control. These headphones seem to push the listener toward the music, forcing them to perceive every accent and movement of the track. Overall, the presentation is energizing and immediately gives the feeling that you have a truly serious listening set in your hands.
Subbass: enveloping depth.
The lower register goes very low, creating a dense and softly enveloping foundation. The subwoofer does not hum or smear, as is the case with some “basshead” models. It is wide and clear, feels voluminous, but at the same time transparent, with all nuances and overtones audible. And in slow, atmospheric compositions, this subwoofer adds depth and fills the musical space with mass, making it more lively and expressive. It seems to create a stage under all the other layers, without interfering with the midrange frequencies, so that every detail remains clear.
Midbass: punch and rhythm.
The mid-bass is all about dynamics, power, and energy. Here, every drum or bass guitar hit is perfectly audible: the attack is fast and clear, the rebound is controlled, and the note is expressed with maximum density. In fast compositions, the rhythm remains lively, energetic, and intense, without smearing. And on calmer tracks, the midbass gently supports the melodic part, adding a sense of body and depth. This combination makes the lower register versatile and suitable for almost any genre.
Texture and nuances: the relief of each note.
What is particularly impressive is the detail of the bass. Each note has volume and texture, and you can clearly hear where the beat begins, how the body of the sound is formed, and how it gradually fades away. The sub and midbass seem to work together to create a cohesive and lively low end, without any muddiness, rumble, or excessive looseness. All the nuances can be heard, whether it's the vibration of the strings, synth transitions, or a slight reverb on the beat. This texture makes the sound musical and engaging, as the bass feels physical but without being heavy or oppressive.
Attack and decay: a quick push and a pleasant aftertaste.
The beats in the VSA-V1 come in instantly, without delay, and the decay is smooth and natural. This is especially noticeable on the drums and bass guitar, where the beat feels confident and the aftertaste remains soft and neat, without interfering with the rest of the composition. Even at high volumes, the notes do not merge or lose their shape, everything is under control, but the energy is not lost.
Conclusion!
The VSA-V1 demonstrates a rare combination of deep, enveloping sub, punchy midbass, perfectly readable texture, and complete control. The bass here isn't just “felt,” it lives in the music, giving tracks energy, relief, and engagement. These headphones are ideal for those looking for dynamic, emotional, yet accurate and clear lows.

MID FREQUENCIES

First impression: transparency and energy.

The midrange frequencies of the VSA-V1 immediately attract attention with their transparency and natural energy. They are light and airy, yet rich and expressive. You can immediately tell that this is not a flat or dull midrange, as every note sounds lively, with the right color and dynamics. The headphones create a feeling of open space, where vocals and instruments sound “in the foreground,” engaging and holding the listener's attention.
Vocal delivery: expressiveness and nuances.
Female vocals are revealed in particular detail: you can hear all the nuances of breathing, slight vibrations, and the performer's emotions. It sounds rich, but at the same time does not press down or lose its lightness. Male vocals are also good: they are dense, warm, confident, and have the right texture. Vocals remain natural and emotional, without harshness or artificial coloring. The headphones bring them closer to the listener, allowing you to literally feel the intonations, accents, and melodic transitions.
Instruments: lively and natural.
The midrange of the VSA-V1 demonstrates excellent performance with instruments. Every guitar, piano, or string instrument sounds detailed, with the right attack and aftertaste. They do not blend into each other, retaining their shape and volume, creating the feeling of a live performance. It is particularly impressive how the headphones handle dense arrangements: the instruments do not get lost, and each part remains clear and natural.
Resolution and tonal nuances: detail and character.
The midrange is revealed through rich tonality and high detail. All the nuances of the voice, the light harmonics of the instruments, and the nuances of the recording become audible. This makes listening interesting even on familiar tracks: new details appear that were previously lost on other headphones. The midrange of the VSA-V1 is energetic but without harshness, natural and musical, this is the kind of sound that allows you to immerse yourself in the composition and feel its dynamics and emotional mood.
Conclusion!
The midrange of the VSA-V1 is a combination of transparency, airiness, and rich texture. It makes vocals lively, instruments natural, and the music as a whole more emotional and engaging. These headphones are perfect for those who appreciate a clear, detailed, and musical midrange, where every detail stays in its place and brings listening pleasure.

HIGH FREQUENCIES

First impression: brightness and transparency.
The high frequencies of the VSA-V1 immediately attract attention with their pronounced brightness and transparency. They are light and slightly bright, but at the same time they do not hurt the ears or cause fatigue. You can immediately sense that this is a technical presentation: every detail is audible and seems to be in its right place. Overall, the upper range sounds relaxed and lively, without any artificial stiffness or excessive softness.
Attacks and detail: fast and accurate.
Every cymbal hit, every accent in the synthesizer is heard very clearly. The VSA-V1 high frequencies demonstrate excellent response speed and attack transparency. Micro-nuances are not lost, but rather stand out in the foreground, making listening detailed and exciting. Instruments sound analytical, but without dryness; the sound remains musical and natural.
Instruments: expressive and light.
The upper registers make the instruments lively and voluminous. Strings, cymbals, synthesizer keys, everything sounds with the right accent, with every nuance well worked out. The highs do not overwhelm the mids and lows, but complement them, adding volume and clarity. Even on dense tracks, the upper frequencies remain transparent, do not blend together, and do not overwhelm the ear.
Space and atmosphere: air and volume.
High frequencies create a sense of space and width on the soundstage. Light reverberations and soft reflections create air, allowing the music to “breathe.” And you literally feel the multi-layeredness and depth, as if you were right there in the studio or at a concert. The whole stage becomes more open and alive, with high frequencies adding atmosphere and completeness to the sound.
Conclusion!
The high frequencies in the VSA-V1 are emphasized, yet musical and transparent. They reveal micro-nuances, make instruments expressive, and music lively and detailed. If you appreciate a technical and analytical, yet free and slightly bright upper range, these headphones will not disappoint.

SOUND STAGE

First impression: width and openness.

The VSA-V1 soundstage immediately impresses with its airiness and sense of space. From the very first seconds, it becomes clear that these headphones are capable of creating a voluminous and multidimensional sound, where each instrument and vocal is in its place. The space is not oppressive, it does not merge into a single mass, but seems to breathe and allows the music to unfold completely.
Character of the soundstage: detailed and coherent.
The VSA-V1's soundstage is quite wide and deep, while maintaining a good sense of precision and structure. Each element of the composition is clearly audible, and the sound is not blurred but multi-layered. The instruments are arranged in the space with good logic, and it is very easy to determine what is closer and what is further away, while everything looks coherent and natural.
Vocals and layering: lively and expressive.
The vocals in this scene sound very realistic. The female vocals are particularly rich in nuance and emotion, while the male vocals remain dense and warm. The overall layering of the music is very noticeable, with each instrument “holding its own” and the vocals not getting lost in the background or rhythm section. This creates the feeling of being at a concert or in a studio, where every sound can be heard and felt.
Micro-nuances and air: atmosphere and detail.
The scene is further brought to life by micro-nuances: light reverberations, quiet accents, barely audible effects, all of this creates a feeling of air and transparency. The listener feels as if they are inside the recording, experiencing the depth and atmosphere of the track. Even complex compositions remain clear, the details do not merge, and the stage remains comfortable to perceive.
Conclusion!
The VSA-V1 soundstage is a balance between width, depth, and precision. It creates a feeling of spaciousness, emphasizes the separation of instruments and vocals, and allows you to catch the smallest details and nuances. As a result, the music becomes lively, rich, and captivating, and listening to it is a pleasure.

MY CONCLUSION OF THIS HEADPHONES!

EarAcoustic Audio VSA-V1 are excellent dynamic headphones for truly immersive music listening. The bass is deep and rich, the midrange is clear and expressive, and the treble is pronounced and detailed. Each composition is revealed in its entirety, down to the smallest detail, yet remains harmonious and comfortable for long listening sessions. It's a sound that captivates from the very first seconds and leaves a lasting impression...
