CCA, the brand based in China and is a sub brand of the infamous KZ (Knowledge Zenith). CCA is known for its ultra budget IEM’s and does better job than its parent company when it comes to sonic refinement. I myself being a fan of their predecessor’s like CRA, C10 and C12, today in our hands is the CCA POLARIS. In this review let’s discuss the sonic capability of it in detail.

Polaris encloses a single 10mm Dual Cavity Dynamic Driver that’s tuned to deliver a balanced sound profile with organic tone and timbre. Technical aspects appear impressive for its price delivering a well separated and a resolved sound while maintaining the energy throughout the presentation.
SETUP: iBasso Jr Macaron + FLACS. Throughout my listening I kept all the switches turned up which is the stock setting by the way.
STAGING AND IMAGING:
DETAIL RETRIEVAL AND RESOLUTION: Polaris extracts the essential nuances without any hiccups with appreciable resolution.
Polaris, the budget offering from the house of CCA adopts a 10mm Dual Cavity Single Dynamic Driver enclosed in a resin shell and an alloy faceplate. The driver gets the 4-stage sound frequency intensity adjustment that enhances the bass by 1Db with each switch turning up. The box package is the usual barebone stuffs includes the Starline ear tips and the average stock cable.
The Polaris is tuned to be balanced yet energetic at the same time. This got that organic tone and timbre allowing them to represent a natural presentation. The impactful and energetic bass response gives that needed dynamism, especially that sub bass will definitely make you drool. Polaris got that forwardly placed mid-section that makes the listening more engaging, thanks to those natural vocals. Treble is well extended in a controlled way with no sharp edges and leaves no room for sibilance. Technical aspects are no brainer for this price point! This got that precise imaging, adequate layering effect and extracts the essential nuances without hiccups. Staging is pretty wide and deep for its price. Basically, there’s nothing for me to complain when it comes to its sonic performance.
The tuning switches merely work but again the stock sound is absolutely fantastic hence its ineffectiveness doesn’t affect much.
I always choose the CCA over the KZ though it’s the sub brand of the parent brand KZ because of its refinement and perfection in sound compared to its parent. Polaris follows that same footstep delivering that precise sonic output. It’s priced at 15USD and for that price this is a steal deal and a GREAT PAYOFF!
