Hello and today we have already well known champ for budget range, redesigned and returned like new iem, and for people who followed up scene for last few years, they know about Klean and dominance on market, even OG version was great product, but somehow there was a space for improvement, and good people from Kefine followed and listen community, released Klean SV which without any doubt better product with old style vibe, more nozzles, better tuning and more cables for users and for more less same price. I usually avoid to compare iem's or products, but just to emphasise how great SV i'll do it, EW200 was undoubtedly uncrowned king among budget iems and only few iems could contend it, Klean OG and EPZ Q1 Pro, even difference was so small, market oftenly suffer from no iem to jump for this budget range or offer something new, many companies tried, but price was always to high or iem weak, until recently Kefine released Klean Silver edition literally destroying EW200, by performance and correcting all previous issues, its cleaner and richer, with a lot of details, plus nozzles are here to improve versatility, simply SV is better product in any way and cost only few dollars extra which is ridiculous, but more about it later on, now few standard sections...

Kefine is relatively new company and for short pushed for reputation of releasing amazing iems by super affordable price, their quatio is still benchmark iem for mid budget range, maybe they arent super fast with releases but rather pushing for quality than quanitity, more about Kefine products feel free to visit their website. I got Klean SV from Kefine for an honest review, im not paid or compensated for this review, its based on my solo experience.

Unboxing, Design and Other:

Standard minimal packaging very small and neat box, with classic information at top and and back, inside pair of SV, cable, linen box with zipper, filter nozzles 2 pairs(one pair is on pre installed already Klean SV), 2 sets of eartips(above average quality), papers, for this price range this is more than expected!

Design:

This is silver edition, so ill describe for people who never had chance to try OG, piano style shell type with more modern edges, preserving same comfort, 2 vent holes, every iem is marked with L and R, nozzles can be removed and replaced, every nozzle color is different tuning, ill cover this later on, material is metal, so it will ensure durability, 2 pin connector cradle which is flat ideal for any cable in case you decide to replace it, faceplates are patterned with color and same material written with black letters of company Kefine...

Accessories:

Even this is budget iem, still offer great accessories for this price range, storage box is with zipper and it will provide decent protection, enough big to fetch extra cable or smaller dac or dongle along with iem, very pocket friendly, cable is on intimate side, and depend of which you choose, since difference in price will be only for cable option, and its like 2$ more or less, 3.5 is most cheapest other cost 2$ more, eartips are funny, stem is little bit tougher and thicker, warmly suggest you to use them with Klean SV, nozzle filters are here, 3 different types for 3 different signatures, combine them with eartips you will get even more versatile combinations.

Comfort and Isolation:

Super comfortable like all Kefine products, very light and you can wear them for longer sessions, few times i even went in bed, and experience wasnt so bad, not great like with Delci, but very close, isolation is above average, due to ticker stem on eartips and nozzle thickness it will prevent and leakage of iem, so dont worry.

Nozzle Filters:

Ill not go too much into details, its not because there isnt difference, its here just little bit smaller, i have tested all and black are my favorite i like it so much, completely different experience. Gold Nozzles are stated to be transparent, and it really push for Klean Silver experience very energetic ideal for specific genres, low extension is little bit shorten, offering tighter bass experience and better punches with sub-bass, and very energetic mid-bass, while mids are more spicy with little bit of vibrancy and energy, highs more pronounced with potential of energy bursts, and slightly better and presented soundstage. Black or Warm and immersive filter nozzle will offer nice counter balance for already neutral brighter Klean SV, so experience for my taste is much better, with better low area extension slightly deeper and better structured, still clear and rich mids, decent highs with more focus on musicality than on technical aspect, yes details are here, but all game is around mid and low area. And last is Silver or Balanced, one of reason i always chose mid value for last, because trying two opposites you can determine where is more leaning, Balanced are really moderated, but slightly leaning more toward Golden experience with few elements toward Black, and if is that your cup of tea, enjoy. What I can say, nozzles are really designed to be easy to install and remove due to edges at top, providing better grip, good job Kefine for recognizing this problem.

Pairing, Driverability and Scaling:

No matter which nozzle you will use, Kefine Klean SV will give you some basic neutral or neutral bright experience, but it will not be so aggressive, so pairing even with more brightish sources will increase little bit analytical side, while warmer will improve some musicality and if you combine with Black nozzle, it will be even more, its really up to you, personal preference is always key factor. Klean SV is easy to drive, no matter if you have using Type C cable or Kefine Dongle some 15-20mw will be more than enough no matter how loud you would like to go. Scaling will improve little bit some areas but it will not transform it in Quatio, just slightly push for better quality, my Earmen Signature, will provide nice and warm organic colors with more realism, while Fiio M21 will try to deliver more precise and technical experience, Hiby R4 warmer and energetic sound with more impact and slightly better soundstage, Surfans F35 warm and more oriented toward realistic soundstage, it will scale like 10-15 percent but for this price range its more than enough...

General Sound Impression:

Just to be more clear, it will be written with using Black Nozzle filter for more warmer and immersive experience, other nozzles could change your impression, soundsignature is neutral and slightly brightish, some little layers of warmth will be expressed due to filter effect, energy is controlled but sometimes some minor outbursts could be noticed, low area very clean, tight and punchy with decent elements, mid range have good clarity and good amount of details, its not most richest but for this price range is more than enough, tonality is more than ok, and all vocals sound very realistic, highs are miss and hit, but with some elements more expressed while some are much less, its not so balanced, but still enjoyable, since energy control is in place, so lets dive little bit deeper...

Low's:

Black filter a lot helps for improving low extension, bass is more tighter and better extended with more accent on juicer part, density is average, slam is very fast and there is precision while control will take little bit out of depthness but much better experience than with other nozzles, decay is just normal and sometimes will roll off too fast, but still will offer great bass experience, textures are average offering some normal 3-4 instruments at start, later can be heard more, its clean and little bit will provide you with some transparency allowing source to take better authority and slightly improve whole bass experience. Sub-bass is on the technical side with more clinical punches, accuracy is better and it will push for some genres to be better expressed, physical touch is ok, personally i like it more but even like this its ok for some decent experience. Mid-bass good amount of energy, providing decent impact with good amount of engagement providing that immersiveness, control is in place stopping bleeds out over mid range, here and there due to energy could spill little bit but not too much, physical touch present but not so much expressed, its more like providing you some decent experience, have in mind this is still entry iem, and still performing much better than its expected. Transition is very smooth toward mid range, without any peaks or disconnects, overall its average compared to more expensive iem's but much better than any iem for this range or class.

Mid's:

And like with OG, SV as well have great Mid area, but with few improvements, more clear and richer notes, timbre is much better leaning toward neutral and slightly organic touch, energy is better controlled with less outbursts surpassing everything for this class, better presented with good amount of focus just to dont be aggressive and still funny. Female vocals very clear and little bit better pronounced with good amount of details, even micro details are here, there is some sharpness caused due to little bit extra of energy, but overall potential issues like sibilance or lisping is reduced off, mezzo sopranos and sopranos will definitely benefit with a lot of richness, sharpness will improve even better experience, details could be better but again for this money i can't complain, alt's have decent depth and warmth could be felt, lacking little bit on structure but still can push for decent transition from low toward upper part.
Male vocals powerful with good amount of details, focus is slightly less like on female one, but still will provide for decent performance, baritones and bass have good chest depthness, providing enough vibro effect, even sometimes seems its less than more, but quality is noticeable for sure, even depth could be slightly deeper, control is in place so it will not step over instruments in low area, tenor's good amount of sharpness, but on some tracks sometimes could sound little bit too energetic, fine details are here due to natural tuning of Klean SV. Instruments have good separation its clear from first moment, weight isnt greatest rather just average as well as body, just to provide some decent experience, some instruments due to energy will benefit much more and combined with other will provide little bit better experience, synergy overall is great, so dynamic driver doing best effort to provide nice sonical experience!

High's:
Very moderated with good amount of balance even its Black filter which leans toward low and mid experience, control is in place and it will perform well with some minimal energy outburst at 2-2.5khz other than this, everything is in control without any harshness or sibilance super maintained through all ranges. I must mention black filter nozzle is ideal for improving more musical experience while not sacrificing technical aspects, so its very fun and engaging experience. Low-treble well i start from transition from upper-mids toward lower-treble its smooth, but due to energy sometimes will provide you with feeling its slightly rushed, even this will not pollute or spoil experience, it will provide some extra vibes which can be very different with tracks, sometimes will push for more exciting approach sometimes for more energetic and miss purpose, overall its clear, presence is above average with good and clear instruments and vocals performing and pushing for even better focus, like i said control is here and sibilance is almost none, very rare some tracks will reveal such elements, all instruments will provide above average performance, while vocals will give super clear impression, not being too much forward just enough to be engaging. Mid-treble little bit brightish with good amount of sparkle which will improve harmony even further, providing good amount of textures and details, brightness is controlled and in place pretty safe zero harshness, but sometimes energy will not be ideal for sensitive people, its safe with few minor and potential issues, very realistic but less organic sonical landscape will be portrayed. Upper-treble good amount of air, with better defined space but less atmospheric or ambiental touch, ratio of air and sparkle somehow in balance, but more leaning toward sparkle. Resolution and details, pretty great for the price range will provide plenty of fine details, and again source will play a bigger role, but overall cant complain about it, it will not be like on Quatio but pretty impressive...



Transients and Dynamics:
Even Klean SV is budget iem, still will push for top performance, transients are fast, not thunders just enough to demonstrate decent start and stop, initial bite is instant, and decay fade off will happen fast as well, so accuracy is on the right track. Dynamics average, have some explosive elements which will contribute to further excitement with good impact with macro-dynamic, while micro-dynamic will reveal some nice subtle details, and again really depends on how many tracks are rich with dynamic elements.



Soundstage and Imaging:
Very talented, with good space, soundstage on Klean SV is classic 3d with more focus toward realistic experience, what i liked its proper placement, instruments and vocals are in same line, with some balanced focus providing chance to all to be heard and depend which is lead, that one will have more dominance, you like listener you are almost in middle of sweet spot and soundstage, with some average distance able to hear all and experience without being overwhelmed, so pretty decent and normal experience, memorable mention, with golden or silver nozzle, soundstage will be slightly more open, so if is that your thing, go for it. Imaging decent, separation is ok due to great air, instruments and vocals will not step over each other, rather work like team, no covering each other, good distance between each other, proportionality average without any problems, so everything will stay in respectable sizes, accuracy is more than ok, its not most sharpest, but still will give you some logical sense where is what and from where is coming. Layering average with some standard 2-3 rows at start, and later if you go deeper or some performers are revealed will provide you with clear direction, while distance could be a little bit challenging.



Gaming and Other Media:
Since Klean SV offers 3 types of filter, some versatility will be ideam for gaming experience, i have tested on my cell phone with their Type C cable, and must admit its pretty great, best with Golden filter nozzles, with more oriented toward highs and great soundstage without too much bass masking steps or shots, Silver is almost identical experience more gradient toward some other gaming genres, even with black filter nozzles will provide decent experience, but sometimes that low area will delay you to convert experience in realistic so your reaction time could be decreased. Other media like hd tv shows or movies, will provide you with decent experience, not maybe wow effect, but still will deliver a pretty great experience with more ascent toward accuracy than to excitement.



Conclusion:
Klean SV is a really worthy successor of Klean OG, its more capable, more versatile, and simply better tuning for buck, literally dominating in this class and surpassing competition.
