Otherwise referred to as the TB Pro Keep Hifi has provided a sample to Australian audiophiles for review.

So what we have here is a metal bodied IEM with a Zinc Alloy coating and a glass faceplate with its distinctive gears design. A tourbillon (French for "whirlwind") is a complex mechanical watch complication featuring a rotating cage that houses the escapement (balance wheel, hairspring, pallet fork),designed to counteract the effects of gravity on timekeeping accuracy, especially in static positions. One suspects in the context of an IEM the name was chosen to indicate precision in timing of music.

The body of the TB pro is smallish and slightly heavy ( think Simgot EA500 weight ) but well designed and it fits my ears securely and comfortably. Nozzle is not large and has a good lip to retain the tips. The supplied 3.5mm cable is soft and flexible and a step up in quality from the usual budget IEMs. TB Pro sits at about the $65 USD mark and is available with or without microphone and there is also a more expensive version with a type C Dac cable.

TBPro has a 10mm double cavity double magnet driver with a PU and Peek and DLC diamond coated diaphragm.

So, good looking, well designed but how about the sound?

What we have here is a warm V shaped bassy set with an easy treble. . It's a mature smooth very musical set. It has a full sound with a good soundstage, reasonable macro details and a smooth treble that extends pretty well. What it is not is a technical set. You settle in and enjoy the music with this one and let it flow over you. Its not a set for detail heads or treble aficionados. Vocals are full and warm and well placed. Midbass hits well and lower and sub bass is deep and extends reasonably low. The limitations of the bass is that it's notfast and EDM and metal lovers should probably look elsewhere. The TBPro does a great job with rock and Americana and handles most popwell. I would recommend using a source that's not warm in itself and use wide bore tips.
